Warranty Consideration Policy

Products returned for warranty consideration will be sent back to the manufacturer for final disposition. 
We realize this places a hardship on you when dialing with a customer, if you are not the end user, however the manufacturer is the only one who can determine a defective product. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Most accessory items have a short 90 day to 6 month warranty.  Please check before replacing any item for you or your customer. 

Warranty Procedures:

1.  To expedite the process, please have you PWP invoice number or documentation available when you call.  A copy of the invoice or documentation must be enclosed with the returned item.
2.  a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) must be secured from PWP before any item can be returned.
3.  RMA number must be on outside of the box.
4.  Customer is responsible for the freight to the manufacturer or PWP for warranty items.
5.  Manufacturers have the choice of repairing or replacing damaged item or issuing credit.
6. 
If upon submission of an item for warranty consideration, customer wants a replacement immediately, PWP will ship the replacement and invoice customer. 
7.  If manufacturer denies the warranty or repairs or replaces the defected item, customer is responsible for payment of defective item and the replacement item.
8.  If manufacturer issues a credit for the defective item, PWP will issue a credit to customer.
No credit will be issued by PWP until one is received from the manufacturer.


Shipping Errors

PWP shall not be responsible for any damage caused by the use of, or availability of products supplied by PWP, including damage to equipment, or personnel, lost profits, or any incidental or consequential damages, even if said damage was caused by the installation of incorrect parts which were shipped in error.
It is the customer's responsibility to determine the appropriate products for an intended use and verify correct products have been received.
If an item is shipped in error by PWP, we will pay the freight to have it returned and the correct item will be shipped with no additional freight charged.
If an item is shipped in error by our vendor, we will have the manufacturer accept responsibility for the return shipping charges and ship the correct item to you at no additional freight.

Returned Merchandise

PWP reserves the right to charge a 20% restock fee for any returned item.  All returns not in the original packing will be charged the restocking fee.  PWP reserves the right to refuse any returns on any special ordered electrical components.

1.  A Rreturn Mmerchandise Aauthorization (RMA) number must be secured from PWP before any item may be returned.
2.  RMA number must be displayed on the outside of box.
3.  Any merchandise returned after 30 days will be assessed a 20% restocking fee.
4.  Customer will be responsible for freight on all items returned for credit.  (Except items shipped in error by PWP or the manufacturer.)
5.  All special order items returned at any time will be assessed a 20% restock fee.
6.  Special orders are those items not ordinarily stocked by PWP.  Some manufacturers have a no return policy on special items.
7.  Orders for an item which is beyond the normal stocking level of PWP will be subject to the same return policies of a special order. 

Freight Charges

With internet access to UPS published rates, discrepancies appear between the "billed" weight and "actual" weight of shipments.  This is the result of additional charges by the carrier, such as home delivery, rural delivery, over sized packages, COD charges and dim weighted packages.  These are additional charges which are NOT calculated into the internet prices.

Shipping Delays

Neither PWP nor the manufacturer will be responsible for any shipping delays with UPS, and any of our other carriers.  All have an excellent record in delivering products in the assigned time.  However, there will be occasions when a package is delayed and not delivered when you expect it.  On those occasions, we will track the package immediately to determine where it is.  For packages shipped next day air or second day air, we will attempt to get a shipping charge reduction if the package is late.

All prices on our web site are subject to change without prior notice.  Also, product additions and deletions may occur throughout the year with no prior notice.
