Sales Policy


Pressure Washer Products Holiday Closings
PWP will be closed in observance of the following US National Holidays, New Years, New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.  PWP will be open in the mornings of Thankgiving Eve and Christmas Eve, closing at noon, EST.

Forms of Payment
Open Credit:  extended after the submission and approval of a PWP credit application. 
Credit Card:  (Master Card, Visa, Discover)
NO COD orders accepted

Open Credit Terms
After submitting a credit application and receiving approval from the PWP credit department, open terms are established with our standard terms net 30 days.
A copy of your state sales tax exemption certificate (if applicable) must be submitted with your credit application.

Past Due Invoices
Receiving open terms from PWP is a result of your ability to meet your payment obligations.  Invoices are considered past due 31 days after the invoice date.  All PWP orders are invoiced the dated of shipment.  You will receive a friendly reminder of a past due invoice by our credit manager.  Please remember, it is your responsibility to honor your payment commitments to PWP.  It is not our credit department's responsibility to inform a delinquent customer on a continuing basis as to invoices in arrears.  Frequent incidents of account delinquency will result in suspension of open terms status. Credit card payments only, will be accepted for all future orders.  Accounts 45 days or older are automatically placed on CREDIT HOLD.  NO shipments will be made until payment of the past due invoices is received by PWP.

Returned Checks
A $25.00 fee will be charged on all returned checks to PWP by our bank for any reason.  This may cause your account to be placed on permanent credit card status.
 

Shipping Stock Orders
Orders received by 4:00 pm EST will be shipped same day, Monday through Friday.  In case of unforeseen circumstances such as mechanical failure, power outages, weather related problems, or other emergencies, you will be notified by the PWP customer service department as soon as possible.  Your order may not be shipped that day, but will ship within 24 hours, (except Fridays or the day before holidays.)  Most PWP shipments are via UPS, unless otherwise requested.  Freight charges are prepaid and added to the invoice unless other arrangements are requested by the customer.

Shipping via the US Postal Service
In the continental US, we will ship an order under one pound via the USPS.  Customer will accept responsibility of package arriving.  If package is lost customer is responsible for paying for lost item.  Packages over 1 lb will ship via UPS.

Shipping Errors and Damages
Any shortages or wrong product shipments should be reported immediately upon receipt to our customer service department.  Any package received damaged or appear to have damaged caused by the freight company should be reported to your delivery person for inspection, then reported to PWP.

Order Procedure
In order to eliminate ordering errors, we highly recommend emailing or faxing orders.  Our fax line is open 24 hours a day all year.  Order by phone Monday through Friday EST from 8:00am - 5:00pm EST except holidays).  When ordering please give the following information on orders:

(1)  Your company name and shipping address
(2)  Your account number (if established)
(3)  Purchase order number or your name
(4)  Any special shipping instructions
            a.  Next Day Air etc.
            b.  Drop ship address
(5)  Part number
(6)  Description of product
(7)  Quantity
(8)  Price of product if available

A PWP inside sales representative will read back your order line by line and verify pricing.  Please pay close attention as you will be responsible for errors after the order is entered.  On telephone orders, you will be notified immediately of out of stock items, and when we anticipate receiving them.  Back orders on faxed or emailed orders will be acknowledged via return fax, email or telephone  by our inside sales representative.

Minimum Order Fee
PWP will add a $4.00 fee to cover processing of small orders under $20.00.

Back/Special Orders
Customers will be notified when a back ordered or special ordered  product has been received to afford the customer an opportunity to add to the order and reduce shipping charges.  Freight will be added to all back ordered shipments.
