4812S u-channel titan products manual hose reel with upgraded 1/2" FPT super swivel (8620a) w/zerk fitting and 1/2" id stainless steel manifold suitable for pressure washing and non-corrosive chemicals. The tt4812s-ss is a u-channel hose reel. This is a great reel for both soft washers running chemical through the reel and pressure washer. This reel can easily be mounted to the passenger side railing of an open trailer with minimal fabrication. Any of these reels can be mounted upside down to a properly reinforced infra-structure.

We offer the reel with the upgraded 1/2" FPT super swivel (8620a) with a zerk fitting instead of the standard stainless swivel cnc'ed in-house by titan. We discovered over the years that the super swivel lasts longer when exposed to hot, high-pressure water and Softwash or pest control chemical because it can be maintained with a grease gun. The 1/2" stainless steel manifold is connected to the swivel and runs through the center of the reel and makes up the wetted components. As with most belongings in life, the better we take care of them, the longer they last. Always strip out all the hose from the reel prior to running water through it.

If you are trying to choose between the full frame titan hose reel and the u-channel series, consider the following: the u-channel reels (4800 series) do not offer the hose reel lock in the standard build, but a bungee cord can be wrapped around the hose to prevent unravelling down the road. The lock is standard on all reels in the 4300, 5500, 4000 series and all the full frame series. The full frame can handle a bit more abuse and pulling hose from the sides without 'tweaking' the reel. The full frame reels can be stacked easily, and the u-channel cannot. The u-channel can be more easily mounted on the side railing of an open trailer without requiring too much fabrication while the full frame reels require a bigger support footprint. We suggest pairing this reel with one of our custom base plates to help you reach a more ergonomic position when manually operating this reel.
